The electoral district of Portage la Prairie, bounded as follows:- Commencing at the point where the meridian between the sixteenth and seventeenth ranges, west of the principal meridian, intersects the north boundary of the sixth township, thence easterly along the north boundary of the sixth townships to its intersection with the meridian between the twelfth and thirteenth ranges west of the principal meridian; thence northerly along the meridian between the twelfth and thirteenth ranges, to its intersection with the north boundary of the ninth township; thence easterly along the north boundary of the ninth townships to its intersection with the meridian between the fifth and sixth ranges west of the principal meridian; thence northerly along the said meridian between the fifth and sixth ranges to the north bank of the Assiniboine River; thence along the said north bank of the Assiniboine River up stream to where it is intersected by the line between lots forty-five and forty-six in the parish of High Bluff; thence northerly along the said line between the said lots forty-five and forty-six to the northwest corner of said lot forty-six; thence easterly along the north limit of said lot forty-six to the meridian between the said fifth and sixth ranges; thence northerly along said last mentioned meridian to its intersection with the southern shore of Lake Manitoba; thence south-westerly and northwesterly following the shore of Lake Manitoba to its point of intersection with the north boundary of the fifteenth township in the ninth range west of the principal meridian; thence westerly along the north boundary of the fifteenth townships to its intersection with the meridian between the sixteenth and seventeenth ranges, west of the principal meridian; thence southerly along said last mentioned meridian to the point of commencement.

The electoral district of Portage la Prairie, bounded as follows:- Commencing at the intersection of the meridian between the ninth and tenth ranges west of the principal meridian with the north boundary of the ninth townships; thence easterly along said north boundary of the ninth townships to the rear line of lots in the outer two miles of the parishes of St. Norbert and St. Vital; thence in a north-easterly and northerly direction along said rear line of lots in the outer two miles of the said parish of St. Vital (the said parish of St. Vital to be constituted, as hereinafter specified, in the electoral division of Winnipeg South) to the south boundary of the electoral division of Winnipeg South as that division is defined in an Act to amend "The Electoral Divisions Act" of the province of Manitoba which has been passed by the Legislative Assembly of the said province and assented to upon the twentieth day of February last (1914); thence westerly along said south boundary of the said electoral division of Winnipeg South to its intersection at the southwest angle of the said electoral division; thence northerly along the west boundary of the city of Winnipeg as that boundary if defined in said provincial Act of 1914 to its intersection at the northwest angle of said boundary of the city of Winnipeg; thence in a northeasterly direction along the rear line of lots in the outer two miles of the parishes of Kildonan and St. Pauls to the north boundary of the twelfth townships to the meridian between the third and fourth ranges west of the principal meridian; thence northerly along said meridian between the third and fourth ranges, west of the principal meridian, to the north boundary of the seventeenth townships to lake Manitoba; thence southerly along the southeast and south shores of said lake Manitoba to the north boundary of the fourteenth townships; thence westerly along said north boundary of the fourteenth townships to the meridian between the ninth and tenth ranges, west of the principal meridian; thence southerly along said meridian between the ninth and tenth ranges, west of the principal meridian to the point of commencement.

The town of Tuxedo, which is included in the electoral district of Winnipeg South; those portions of the parish of St. James which are included in the electoral district of Winnipeg Centre; and those portions of sections 14, 23 and 24 in township 11, range 2, east of the principal meridian, and lot 35B of the parish of St. John, which are included in the electoral district of Winnipeg North, shall not be included in the electoral district of Portage la Prairie.

PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE consisting of townships eleven (11) and twelve (12) in range two (2); townships ten (10) to twelve (12) inclusive in range one (1); townships eleven (11) to seventeen (17) inclusive in ranges three (3) to nine (9) inclusive; so much of townships eighteen (18) to thirty-one (31) inclusive in ranges three (3) to ten (10) inclusive as lie east of Lake Manitoba; and so much of townships thirty-two (32) to forty-seven (47) inclusive in ranges three (3) to eleven (11) inclusive as lie south and west of the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, all the said ranges being west of the first principal meridian; and so much of townships ten (10) to twelve (12) inclusive in ranges one (1) to three (3) inclusive east of the said meridian and of the lots on the Assiniboine River as are not included in the electoral districts of Winnipeg North and Winnipeg South Centre, as hereafter described.

PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE consisting of so much of township eleven (11) in range one (1), and of townships twelve (12) to eighteen (18) inclusive in ranges one (1) to three (3) inclusive as lie north of Assiniboine river; townships ten (10) to seventeen (17) inclusive in ranges four (4) to nine (9) inclusive; so much of township eighteen (18) in ranges four (4) to nine (9) inclusive as lie east of the west shore of Lake Manitoba, all the said townships and ranges being west of the first principal meridian; and so much of townships ten (10) to twelve (12) inclusive, in ranges one (1) to three (3) inclusive east of the first principal meridian and of the lots on the Assiniboine river as are not included in the electoral districts of Winnipeg North Centre, Winnipeg South Centre, and Macdonald as herein defined.
