Representation Order, 1966

ROCKY MOUNTAIN consisting of all that portion of the Province of Alberta lying west of the easterly, and south of the northerly, boundaries as described below:

(NOTE: in the following description all ranges lie west of the fifth (5th) meridian, unless otherwise specified.)

The easterly boundary:

Starting from the northeast corner of township sixty-seven (67) range eight (8); thence southerly along the east boundary of range eight (8) to its intersection with the right bank of the Athabasca River; thence upstream along the right bank of said river to its intersection with the east boundary of range nine (9); thence southerly along the east boundary of range nine (9) to the northeast corner of township fifty-six (56); thence east to the northeast corner of township fifty-six (56) range eight (8); thence south to the northeast corner of township fifty-five (55) range eight (8); thence east to the left bank of the Pembina River; thence upstream along the left bank of the Pembina River to its intersection with the east boundary of range seven (7); thence southerly along the east boundary of range seven (7) to its intersection with the left bank of the North Saskatchewan River; thence upstream along the left bank of the said river to its intersection with the north boundary of township forty (40); thence west to the northeast corner of township forty (40) range eight (8); thence southerly along the east boundary of range eight (8) to the northeast corner of township thirty-two (32); thence east to the northeast corner of township thirty-two (32) range six (6); thence southerly along the east boundary of range six (6) to the north boundary of Indian Reserves Nos. 142, 143 and 144; thence easterly, southerly and westerly following the northerly, easterly and southerly boundaries of said Indian Reserves to the east boundary of township twenty-five (25) range six (6); thence southerly along the east boundary of range six (6) to the northeast corner of township twenty-two (22) range six (6); thence east to the northeast corner of township twenty-two (22) range one (1); thence southerly along the fifth (5th) meridian to the northeast corner of township three (3) range one (1); thence east to the intersection of the north boundary of township three (3) range twenty-seven (27) west of the fourth (4th) meridian with the left bank of the Belly River; thence upstream along the left bank of the Belly River to its intersection with the north boundary of township two (2) range twenty-eight (28) west of the fourth (4th) meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of said township two (2); thence south to the United States border at the southeast corner of township one (1) range twenty-eight (28) west of the fourth (4th) meridian.

The northerly boundary:

Starting at the point where the north boundary of township sixty-four (64) intersects the west boundary of the Province of Alberta; thence east to the sixth (6th) meridian; thence north to the northeast corner of township sixty-seven (67) range one (1) west of the sixth (6th) meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of township sixty-seven (67) range eight (8) west of the fifth (5th) meridian.
