WELLINGTON SOUTH, Ontario (1867 - 1968)


British North America Act, 1867

Ontario shall be divided into the Counties, Ridings of Counties, Cities, Parts of Cities, and Towns enumerated in the First Schedule to this Act, each whereof shall be an Electoral District, each such District as numbered in that Schedule being entitled to return One Member.

The County of Wellington, divided into Three Ridings, to be called respectively North, South and Centre Ridings:

The South Riding to consist of the Town of Guelph, and the Townships of Guelph and Puslinch.
