Corporate Services provides support and services to the Library of Parliament in the areas of human resources, finance, materiel management, corporate planning and information technology.
We are currently looking for candidates to staff the following position: Coordinator, Classification and Staffing.
The Coordinator, Classification and Staffing is responsible for the coordination of various classification and staffing processes to support the activities of the dynamic Human Resources (HR) Management Services team. The incumbent creates files and ensures that they are up to date, posts job advertisements on various sites, prepares correspondence such as invitations, results letters, etc., coordinates the logistical aspect of exams and interviews, all while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the staffing process.

Note: While this position is eligible for part-time telework, regular on-site presence is required at Library of Parliament workplaces located in the National Capital Region.

To be considered, candidates must have:
• An acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
• Experience providing administrative support services in an HR environment.
• Experience providing information to managers and/or employees on administrative processes and procedures.
• Experience responding to enquiries from the public and/or internal stakeholders.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Asset(s):
• Post-secondary education in a field related to Human Resources Management.
• Experience using an HR information system and/or applicant tracking system.
• Experience in digitizing administrative processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
Candidates retained in this selection process will be required to obtain successfully:
• A second-language evaluation (Bilingual staffing – imperative: CBC/CBC)
