CENTRAL NOVA consisting of:

(a) The county of Pictou;

(b) that part of the county of Colchester bounded by a line commencing at a point situated on the Colchester-Pictou county line at its intersection with Black River; thence southeasterly following said county line to a point at the junction of the Colchester-Guysborough-Halifax-Pictou county lines; thence westerly following the Colchester-Halifax county line to its intersection with the Colchester Hants county line; thence northerly following the ColchesterHants county line to the shore of Cobequid Bay; thence easterly along said shore of Cobequid Bay to the mouth of Mill Brook; thence along Mill Brook to Irwin Lake at its outlet; thence from said outlet in a line to the southwestern corner of the town of Truro; thence easterly along the boundaries of the said town to its southeastern corner; thence East in a line to Campbell Brook; thence northerly along said brook to the Salmon River; thence easterly along said river and Black River to the point of commencement;

(c) that part of the county of Halifax bounded by a line commencing at a point situated on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean at the southeastern termination of the Guysborough-Halifax county line; thence northwesterly following the said county line to the Colchester-Guysborough-Halifax-Pictou county lines; thence westerly following the Halifax-Colchester county line to its intersection with Millen Road leading to and along McCaffrey Brook; thence southerly following said road to McCaffrey Brook; thence southerly along said brook to Highway 24; thence easterly following said highway to the Newcomb Corner Road; thence following said road to the Moose River Gold Mines Road; thence southerly following said road to the Moose River; thence along said river to a small stream; thence along said stream to Fairbank Lake; thence southeasterly along the southwestern shore of Fairbank Lake to the south end thereof; thence in a line East to Morgan River; thence southeasterly along said river and Tangier River to River Lake; thence southeasterly along the eastern shore of said lake to Mooseland Road; thence southerly following said road to Highway 7; thence southerly in a line to the north end of Popes Harbour; thence easterly and along the various courses of the shore of Popes Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean to the point of commencement; together with all offshore islands or parts of islands;

(d) that part of the county of Guysborough bounded by a line commencing at a point situated on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean at the southeastern termination of the Guysborough-Halifax county line; thence northwesterly following said county line to the Colchester-Guysborough-Halifax-Pictou county lines; thence easterly following the Guysborough Pictou county line and the Antigonish-Guysborough county line to Guysborough River; thence southeasterly along said river to South Brook; thence southwesterly along said brook to Long Lake; thence along the southeastern shore of said lake to its south end; thence in a line to the north end of Ogden Lake (Round Lake); thence southerly along the west shore of said lake to its outlet; thence from said outlet along the river to North Branch Lake; thence southwesterly along the southeastern shore of said lake to its outlet; thence from said outlet along stream to Salmon River; thence southeasterly along said river to Three Ponds Brook; thence along said brook to its source; thence westerly in a line to New Harbour Lake at its northwest end; thence southerly along the western shore of said lake to its outlet at New Harbour River; thence southerly along said river to Ocean Lake; thence southerly along the east shore of said lake to its southeast end; thence South in a line to Basin Brook; thence southerly along said brook to Cooper (first) Lake; thence southeasterly in a line to the south point of New Harbour Head on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean; thence westerly and along the various courses of the shore of the Atlantic Ocean to the point of commencement; together with all offshore islands or parts of islands.
